A simple and refreshing onboarding experience
Medst starts with three splash screens with fun and unique illustrations, introducing the major functions that help users to learn about first-aid supplies, know how to act properly in an emergency, and enrich healthcare skills and knowledge.
When entering the app, users can choose to create an account through email registration or use social media account. The step can also be skipped and completed later.
A comprehensive guide to a variety of first aid kits and items
In the first section, the app introduces different types of first aid kits and allows users to purchase whatever items they need directly from it.
Each kit has three categories of items: materials, tools and medicines. From the checklist below, users can see what is included. By clicking on any of the items, the app will show detailed information and offer a direct purchase channel.
Step-by-step instruction on handling emergencies with realtime consulting
The second major function of the app is to help users deal with accidents and emergencies. By clicking on the emergency button, the app will first jump to a page that asks if users need to call 911.
When selecting a certain type of emergencies, the app will show several steps that users can take to perform first aid. Meanwhile, users can also seek help from realtime consulting service by medical professionals or navigate to nearby health facilities using the map system.
A fun and interactive online learning system
The third major section of the app is online training, which offers a wide range of first-aid classes that users can take to foster their knowledge and skills.
By selecting a training class, users can see their progress and learning materials. There are also common Q&As about the topic and comments from other users.
Powerful Search that provides what you’re looking for and more
Users can type in whatever they want to know about first aid without knowing the exactly right medical words. The app will show them relevant terms and materials to choose from.
A vocabulary assistant that makes medical terms easily understandable
The goal of this feature is to help users understand any medical terms they came across in the app.
By clicking on the eye button, the app will automatically scan the current screen and show a list of terms. Users can select any of them and a very easily understandable definition will show up.
